Our monthly Chamber “Business Network Luncheon” is the first Wednesday of each month at 12:00 noon. We invite you to join us for this hour of mixing and networking with local business associates and our individual members. The speakers are interesting and informative on current events and updates on varied subjects.

Senior Citizen Dance
The Tillman’s Corner Community Center hosts a Senior Citizen Dance for the County Line band every other Thursday night. The cost is $5.00. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the event starts at 7:00 PM. Don’t miss out!!

Congratulations Mrs. Ruth Robinson
Tillman's Corner Chamber Citizen of the Year 2011
Mrs. Ruth Robinson has been selected for the 2011 Citizen of the Year award. As a faithful member and servant of Living Word Church, Mrs. Robinson has served many positions with several churches: teacher, usher, greeter, warrior women prayer group, children’s ministry, and financial workshops, just to name a few. Employed with Mobile Memorial Gardens, Inc. for 17 years as the Administrative Manager she is a pioneer of starting several Christian schools. Mrs. Robinson is currently a member and board member of Tillman’s Corner Chamber of Commerce. Not only does she hold a seat in the American Cancer Society Survivor’s Committee, she is also a Team Captain for Relay for Life. Mrs. Robinson is a Team Leader and future Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics. She has been awarded the prestigious “Go Give Spirit Award” several times with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Mrs. Ruth has the belief, “The more you give, the more you receive and all you send into the lives of others will indeed come back into your own life.”
$$Scholarship$$ Winners Announced
The Tillman’s Corner Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that we will be awarding financial aid packages to deserving students living in the Tillman’s Corner area. Awards will be made for outstanding achievement in civic, academic, or leadership roles.
Congratulations to this year’s Chamber scholarship winners: Jessica Rogers, Jessica Baluyut, Lauren McKeown, Brandon Woodruff, Chassidy Helton, and Shanna Stoker. The Scholarship Fund was made possible from generous donations of Chamber members through fundraiser events and was created to financially help students to pursue their studies.
